Crystal Grids: Invoking the Five Roads Wealth Gods
A crystal grid is a modern spiritual practice that resonates deeply with ancient Feng Shui principles. It is the art of arranging stones in a sacred geometric pattern to amplify intention. By aligning a grid with the principles of the Five Roads Wealth Gods, you create a powerful “energy battery” designed to attract abundance from all directions.
The I Ching teaches that structure creates energy flow. Just as a river flows more powerfully through a narrow canyon than an open plain, energy directed by intention and geometry is more potent. A crystal grid acts as this structure.
To create a “Five Roads” grid, you will need the five primary crystals representing the five deities and a central focus stone.
Step 1: The Center (Zhao Gongming)
Place a Pyrite cube or a large Citrine point in the center. This represents the core of your intention: stability and grounded wealth .
Step 2: The Four Roads
Around the center, place the directional stones:
- East (Growth): Green Aventurine or Moss Agate.
- West (Harvest): Tiger’s Eye or Golden Rutilated Quartz.
- South (Fame): Carnelian or Red Jasper.
- North (Career): Fluorite or Smoky Quartz .
Step 3: The Geometry
Connect these five points with lines of intention, either by drawing them in your mind or by connecting them with small clear quartz points. The resulting shape is a cross (plus sign) representing the four directions united by the center. This is the symbol of manifesting from the physical (directions) to the metaphysical (center).
Step 4: Activation
Using a Selenite wand or a clear quartz point, trace the lines of the grid while stating your intention. In Feng Shui, we activate wealth areas often during the new moon or at specific times of the year to align with natural cycles.
This practice is particularly effective in a home office or business. It serves a dual purpose: energetically, it harmonizes the space; psychologically, it acts as a constant visual anchor. Every time you look at the grid, you are reminded that you are actively supported by the energy of the Five Roads. The I Ching speaks of “perseverance furthers”—by maintaining this grid, you cultivate the perseverance needed to wait for the seeds of your intention to bloom into material reality.
